Delete Your Account
How to permanently delete your Teleia account
We're sorry to see you go. If you wish to delete your Teleia account and all associated data, you can do so directly from the app or by contacting us.
Option 1: Delete from the App
The easiest way to delete your account is directly from the Teleia app:
- Open the Teleia app on your device
- Go to your Profile tab (bottom right)
- Scroll down to find "Delete Account"
- Tap the button and confirm your decision
- Your account will be permanently deleted
Option 2: Request via Email
If you cannot access the app or prefer to request deletion via email:
- Send an email to abdelhamid@teleia.co.uk
- Use the subject line: "Account Deletion Request"
- Include the email address associated with your Teleia account
- We will process your request within 7 business days
What Data Will Be Deleted
When you delete your account, the following data will be permanently removed:
- Your profile information (name, email, profile photo)
- All messages and conversations
- Course enrollments and progress data
- Assignment submissions and grades
- All app settings and preferences
- Push notification subscriptions
Data Retention Period
Your data will be deleted within 30 days of your deletion request. Some anonymized data may be retained for analytics purposes, but it will not be linked to your identity. Certain data may be retained longer if required by law or for legitimate business purposes (e.g., financial records).
Important: This Action Cannot Be Undone
Account deletion is permanent. Once deleted, your account and all associated data cannot be recovered. If you wish to use Teleia again in the future, you will need to create a new account.
